Healthy Spiced Tea

Spiced Tea

  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon sliced fresh ginger
  • 4 oolong tea bags
  • 2 lemons

Bring water to boil.
Add sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and ginger.
Stir. After sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and strain. Add tea bags and sliced lemon. Steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and either serve hot or chilled.

The flavor of the spices combined with the faint hint of jasmine for oolong tea is a nice combination.
